Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you have packages available at reasonable prices?
YES. Our price for wedding day coverage is one of
the best in the Northwest for the quality and value
you receive. We also have some outstanding
“options” that
are value priced!
Please see our
page on prices for details.
2. What if I am on a tight budget?
Chances are, we can help. Just contact us and
we'll work something out for you.
3. Do you have payment terms?
YES. After the initial non-refundable deposit of $295
is paid, you will receive a payment schedule to help
keep you on track. We accept personal checks,
money orders, cash and VISA and MASTERCARD.
4. Do you do videos or DVD's as well as take digital photos?
YES. We've just added a special wedding video package
as a new option this coming season! We will create a
full hour, professionally-edited video summarizing your
wedding day memories. Plus, you'll receive all the
“out-takes”. Two professional videographers join our
team for this service. Editing done by a 20-year pro –
so you can have confidence this material will be of
high quality!
You will enjoy watching your friends and family as they
join you in celebrating your wedding day experience.
This is truly a keepsake you'll treasure for years to
come. VHS video or DVD formats available.
Your entire video production will be supervised by our
lead photographer and TV veteran – Dana Kehr -- and
by Michael Dziak -- a 20-year pro and award-winning
TV and video production manager.
We encourage you to consider using the same
company for both your wedding video and still
photography. There are several reasons for this:
One, you'll know that both the video and your still images
will be produced by experienced professionals to insure
the highest level of quality;
Two, both are experienced in working together -- so
they won't be stumbling over each other or jockeying
for position to get the "right" shot. Instead, shooting
will be highly coordinated for effectiveness and beauty;
Three, in the editing process for your wedding video,
you'll want some of the still images incorporated in the
final production -- so your viewers will be able to see
how some of the shots were created. They'll see what
the photographer sees as he works with you to get the
beautiful images you want of your wedding; and
Four, we offer a 10% discount on your video if you book
both the wedding video and digital photography together.
Now that's a heck of a deal!
5. Do you offer albums?
YES. You can add albums to any of our wedding
packages. Besides the traditional wedding
albums, we also have some very affordable
prices on the popular “Flush Mount” albums.
Contact us for details.
6. On my wedding day, will you also be shooting
a wedding for someone else?
NO. We only schedule one wedding per day.
7. How many photographers will you bring to my wedding?
You'll have a Brides' Club preferred photographer at your
wedding along with a photographer's assistant to help
coordinate the day's coverage. Your lead photographer
may be joined by a second, assistant-photographer in
training.
8. Can I just turn all my wedding photo and video production over to you to get the job done?
ABSOLUTELY! We offer an extra 10% discount on the
video production if we create both your digital photo-
graphy and your wedding video.
9. Do you ever offer any specials?
YES. Currently, we have special discounts worked out
with the Lakewood Gallery and Framing Company in
Lakewood – so you'll receive a 20% discount on any
wedding frames you want to have done.
Also, if you are being married at the Mormon Temple
in Bellevue – please ask us about our “Member's
Special” – that includes extra prints and services.
10. How much in advance should I reserve my wedding date?
Well, we would encourage you to plan ahead as much
as possible. We can accept your deposit over the phone
and then you'll be guaranteed wedding day coverage.
11. Why do you shoot only digital images?
With digital photography, we can check your images on
the spot for quality. No waiting for weeks in the future to
see if we captured the moment. Also, we will shoot
many more photos than the old-style film photographers
who are afraid to shoot many images because of the
expense of film and the chemicals needed to process
the negatives that they want to own – even after you've
paid for them.
And, frankly, we like the creative control that digital
images give us.
12. Can I get prints in Black and White or Sepia tones as well as in color?
YES. That’s one of the great things about digital. We can do it all with just one take.
13. Can I buy the digital “negatives”?
The digital images are included in every package we offer.
You will own the rights to all of the high-resolution images
and may make as many prints as you want … or, if you'd
like us to make prints for you, just let us know.
14. Do you provide a FREE engagement photo session?
YES. If you schedule “The Bride's favorite” wedding
package, the engagement session is included. A
matted, large-size print and frame are also prepared
for your wedding day celebration.
